The handling of these cars, especially in the Limited trim, is superb, and the car is a blast to drive on any winding road. Plus, the car never required anything more than basic oil-change, etc., maintenance for those five years. Truly a dependable, reliable sports car. I should also add that it provided a perfect ergonomic situation for me inside, too, and I'm 6' 4\" tall. The relationship between steering wheel, shift lever, pedals, headroom, and seat is ideal. The Falcons had very little track time as the two-day event at Watkins Glen last September was foggy and rainy, so we had minimal track time and it was really pretty mild driving due to conditions, so the tires are like new. I've had such a fun time with it over the years. I've done auto-x, track days, and sunday coffee drives. It currently spends most of its time up on a 4 post lift because 3 small kids... but it's one of those cars that I could see being into for the long haul (antique plates would be cool!). I'm 5' 8'' and feel like the car fits me like a custom tailored suit. The steering feel is almost Cayman status, the shifter (while does have a few quirks on the 13 model) is direct and precise. Like many other curious gen 1 BRZ owners, I Turo'ed a 22 GT86 for a long weekend of mountain pass driving with the boys... Was the extra power welcomed? Yes. Would I love to wave a magic wand and get that engine in my car, yes (no, I'm not supercharging it) But, overall, it wasn't _that_ much different. I don't think the looks are an improvement at all and the steering was not quite as good. I'm sure they will tweak that in future MYs. In any case, wanted to chime in with my BRZ love story... I like to say, if everyone drove one of these (standard, of course) the roads - and world - would be a much happier place. Good luck on the auction. Keeping them in the power band through the mixing of gears can make driving fun at lower speeds. One of the best street cars I ever had in terms of public road driving experience was a 1997 2.5L Porsche Boxster. On windy rural roads I could have great fun heal/toe shifting the car to keep it in the power band at speeds that were safe on public roads.
