They mostly advertised in Four Wheeler and 4 Wheel Offroad magazine providing 4x4 conversions for vans, the Ford were called QuadraVans, Dodge were the Van Charger and the GMs were \"K\" Vans. The K Vans were built as a 2wd and drop shipped to Pathfinder were they would install a Dana 44 front axle with a Ford style drivers pumpkin due to the unique unibody design of the GM vans and the steering box location. These were not sourced out of Fords and thrown in they were brand new directly from Spicer. Pathfinder also had their custom brackets and crossmembers as well as a New Process 205 T Case with custom Pathfinder shifter. Additionally the K emblems on both front fenders as well as one on the rear door. After the conversion it was then sent to the dealer and sold with a full factory warranty as a brand new 4x4 van. The fact they were sold with factory warranties is a testament to the reputation Pathfinder had. This is a very cool rig with the original emblems, shifter and equipment, Those K emblems are impossible to find as they were limited to only GM Pathfinders. Many of these were ordered for municipality use in more rugged areas. The conversion was not a cheap option and the fact this one was ordered by a private citizen with great options is even cooler.
