Has a good mid range pull.\r\n\r\nThe BBR filters are actually made with a close mesh screen. They are not as restrictive as paper filters and do provide some filtration. If you look around you can still find them, I believe Z Car Depot has one for around $1200.00.\r\n\r\n\r\nsoquelz,\r\nThe one thing I like most about 123 ignition is it\u2019s so easy to change a timing curve. I settled on that curve after a couple of weekends driving around on the butt dyno. My logic for setting the initial timing point 7 @ 500 rpm had nothing to do with performance, but thought that the motor started better the closer it got to TDC. The curve quickly advances to 16 @ 1000 rpm which is basically idle. I do try one of the \u2018anti-stall\u2019 curves ( the one started at 18 @ 800 then 16 @ 1200) but really didn\u2019t see were that helped any. This car was well known amongst the local Z guys for years, because, it had been sitting in a garage locally since 1978. The 46k miles shown is original milage. I was the second owner, Tom the third. I bought the Z intending to build it for my daughter, but then she indicated she liked early Broncos, so we went that route instead, and Tom was looking for a project. Rust was basically zero in Z world, but I had cut out and welded in a few small spots, and I replaced the floor frame rails with full length parts just because the old ones had some of the typical dents from floor jacks, and I wanted them to look pretty again. I know the work done on the car, and it is all impeccably done.
