During these 24 years, the car has never been smoked or eaten in, never been on a track, never been in snow, never had a pet in it, and always stored in a garage most often under cover. In my 10 years\u2019 ownership I have driven it in the rain about half-dozen times. When living in western NY, I kept it in a garage under cover from about Nov to Apr with a battery tender. I periodically drove it up and down my driveway after the engine warmed to rotate the tires. Before driving it each spring, I waited for 2 heavy rains to wash residual salt from roadways. \r\nAll gauges, keys, window switches/motors, door locks, lights, power mirrors, AC/heat, heated seats, power seats, radio, steering wheel tilt, vanity lights, sunroof open/tilt, glove box flash light, window/light washers, cabin and trunk lid release buttons, and cup holders function normally. I have tried to keep the car original. \r\nIncluded is a short video of the garage floor where the car has been stored since June 2020 when I moved into this house showing no signs of leaks. Three noteworthy items: 1) the CD player works intermittently. 2) once every approximately 12-15 cold starts, the engine does not turn over. The dash lights illuminate normally, and I hear a click in the engine bay. I turn the key to the off position, then immediately back to the on position and the car starts normally. I have never experienced this when the engine was warm. I had a mechanic investigate this as part of the PPI (see June 2, 2023 receipt), but nothing was found. 3) there is a slight and short duration squeak when the car is driven over certain road bumps. It can be heard in the driving video. The source is the rear window deck. When parked, I hear the squeak when I tap the deck panel with my fingers. \r\nI am selling the car because I do not drive it much since moving to VA 4 years ago. About every 2 weeks I take it for a spirited drive on a Sat/Sun morning in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns to avoid the car sitting for long periods of time and to enjoy its performance. It's by far superior to anything out there. I initially bought the Avin headunit but it had multiple issues with wireless carplay, using the camera automatically when shifting into reverse and connecting to spotify.\n\nGood luck to all! It\u2019s been now over a year that I sold my last one and while I\u2019m enjoying my 500E that I replaced it with as well as my GT4, I always feel the urge of buying one again and I\u2019m sure that eventually I will. These cars are easy to own and the repairs are not terrible. I\u2019ve done clutch, rear main seals, AC condenser, shocks, breaks and at most you\u2019ll be $3k away from perfection if the car will need one of the big repairs which still is a bargain for what you\u2019ll have. I drove my first one to 157k miles, second one to 98k miles, third one to 89k miles and fourth one to 65k miles. These cars are easily driven to high miles so the examples with very low miles will always be hard to come by. GLWS!!
