Believe they may have just greased the mechanism, but it hasn't caused any issues since then.\n\nThe dealership (Mercedes Benz of Durham) I go to has been fantastic every step of the way. The detailed records are uploaded/attached to the listing, but the small items that pop up have all been taken care of to my satisfaction. Off the top of my head, that's the sunroof, fixing the ashtray/coin tray drawer (it was sticking), and replacing a front strut bushing that was sticking and causing some noise at slow speed/full lock turns.\n\nThe only \"issue\" with the car is it's really efficient at turning gas into noise :)\n\nOn a serious note, no issues I'm aware of with the car. A/B services completed by MB \"early\" from a mileage standpoint every year (it's aligned with date given when I purchased it). Rear tires were replaced in late 2018, front tires in early 2020, rear pads/rotors in mid-2019, front pads/rotors in late 2019. \n\nSelling because it's time to move on to different cars. We recently moved and have temporarily downsized the garage, coupled with just not driving as much in the current world we live in. I have a Factory Five Cobra (it's hidden in some of the photos) that I'm keeping, but we're selling this plus another car. PIcking up a Model X performance this weekend, and we'll see if we end up actually replacing the E63 with something or just sitting for a while.\n\nMy litmus test for a vehicle is simply whether I crack a smile when I fire it up. It's a bit dense to go through as there were a number of adjustments along the way due to how they require the body shop to file (eg; initial repair as cost for inspection, then file to try and \"repair\" parts, then file again for replacement of parts, etc.)\r\n\r\nSalient things from my perspective:\r\n-At the end of the day, the rear bumper, rear CF trim, support bar, parking sensors, and most of the brackets were replaced with new OEM parts. \r\n-You can see from the claim the only \"repair\" was a respray of the rear body panel to make sure it matched between the car and the new bumper. There is a note about a Repair to the rear bumper, but you can see it was also backed out and changed to a complete replacement (note above re: Allstate policies)\r\n-One of the valves for the air suspension was suspected to be leaking - they sent it to the MB dealership for a replacement\r\n\r\nWork was performed at Elite Auto Body in Chapel Hill, NC. The visible indentations generally disappear after a few days of not having the car seats installed. In the case of these pictures the seats were removed morning of for the car to be cleaned, with pictures taken that evening.\n\nTrunk w/out Liner - sure thing, will snap a picture this AM\n\nHeadliner - same thing, will take a pic this AM\n\nTrack Time - no, car hasn't seen any track time at all. I have another car for that (if you look carefully you can see it on the lift in Photo 76!). From my n=1 experience, turning down the lane assist settings has significantly improved brake life as it keeps the car from automatically braking on a single side when it thinks you're too close to the lane edge, etc.\n\nTires have since been topped up :)\n\nKnobs/wear - No wear on any of the knobs/buttons/controls. There is some wear to the alcantara sections of the steering wheel, but that's to be expected. Picture 34 does a good job of representing that. The alcantara, when worn, gets a bit \"flat\" and \"shiny\".\n\n\"Dirt\" - What's visible on the floormats, inside the center console, etc. is just dirt. As has been beaten to death in the comments, the detailers did a crap job this time around.
