Still has the factory foam on the AC lines and fuel lines that the aftermarket parts do not reproduce that way\u2026 Seat is worn similarly. For the last 23yrs I get in and out of it to move it around my garage alot, which has worn the dried out 46yr old seats out. 46yrs of age by itself can do a lot of damage to things without use. My AC has long quit working but was still the original R12 compressor.\nEither way, it wouldn\u2019t take much to make this car perfect again. Seats, AC, heater core, new tires. My gas tank receiver had been opened up so that the original owner could use leaded gas back in the day....remember how the leaded gas pumps had larger diameter spouts! And BTW, I had no way of verifying the mileage on mine either, just had to go by what I saw and the seller was not sure either, he was the 3rd owner and sometime in the 90's it got a clear coat to preserve the paint. I have two of these cars in the 4-speed variants. One has 4200 actual miles and is fully documented from new. My other has 26K miles. The GM interior quality for these cars as much as I love them, was terrible. So was the carpet. You'd definitely see the wear there and other obvious places. GM also didn't help us with their paint quality for the 79's. The paint is very thin and oxidizes quickly as most of you know. But, like Joe, I love these cars! This was my first collector car that I bought back in 1991. Kept that car for over 10 years and enjoyed it more than the the others I owned. I've replaced both of my interiors with Legendary interiors because I'm over the top when it comes to the appearance of the car. I've even done paint work where needed to make the car look new. This includes my 4200 mile car.
