Thank you for the questions and for following this listing.\r\nThe rear main seal leak is very common in most of these XKE\u2019s. It is a few drips and not constant. I never need to add oil, so it\u2019s not a bad leak. This is a common issue unless the engine has been pulled and fixed.\r\nThe tires are from 2015 and have less than 6,000 miles on them.\r\nI purchased new tubeless tire rims in 2007. I do not have the original rims.\r\nPicture #111 gives a brief history of major repairs and upgrades.\r\nThe AC works very well and in 2010 I put in a new compressor and converted to R34 refrigerant.\r\nThe interior I believe is mostly original. I have not done anything major to interior during my ownership. It\u2019s in great shape. \r\nI do not have the rubber bumpers. The European chrome bumpers look way better.\r\nThe original color was dark blue. \r\nThere is no hardtop.\r\nI have not replaced or restored any body panels on the underside of the car. The panels are in great shape. \r\nI have only put 14,000 miles on it in 18 years and it has been garage kept and well maintained. The binder that is pictured has over 90 pages of receipts for parts and work that I have done. The problem when they start leaking is that it leaks right onto that exhaust pipe and every time you start it up it will smoke and it only gets worse. I am a 45 year factory, Jaguar tech and it takes about 30 hours to do the job while you have the crankshaft out of the car. Its not a bother.\r\nALL E-types have rope seals and they are notorious for leaking. We've had 3 E-types, Austin Healeys and Triumphs and they all leak oil. If you know British cars, you know this is common.\r\nAgain, not something that needs to be fixed.
