As far as corrections go, the rear bumper is from a later car as it has holes for rear back up lights. The front lower door panels and seat covers, I believe, are reproductions from over a decade ago when the Salt & Pepper material was first reproduced. These covers had issues with the heat seams (see split rear seat cover). These issues can be sorted, just takes time. The reproduction S&P material is still available. \r\n\r\nThe rubber mats are hard to find and these are probably the best you'll find these days, even damaged. @Braukuche knows how hard some of this stuff is to find. Overall, this is a great base to keep as is or take to the next level. Ruby Red is a great color on a Type 3 and this definitely looks to be a close repaint judging by the interior paint and engine color. No repaint will be 100%, but this looks very close. \r\n\r\n@broodie, if it was a '65 and red originally, it would have been Ruby Red L456. Granada Red came in '66 and was a darker red. Like a lot of the early VW colors, they change depending on sunlight, and Ruby is one of those that can look really bright in the sun, and a bit darker in the shade.
