This gentleman had restored, raced, and cared for more unique, low mileage, special order vehicles than anyone I have met before. This corvette was the owners personal race car and was kept as part of a $3M car collection. This corvette was surrounded by $1M in automobilia and stored within a $2M building. This collection also included factory built race cars such as a Ford Cobra Jet, Ford Boss 302S's and various other race vehicles. This collection also included the likes of multiple 850+ HP Super Snake Mustangs, a Ford Gt40, LS Powered Chevy Apache, Shelby 1000, Ferrari 458, etc etc. More unique and ultra low mileage vehicles than I have seen outside of a museum! An in shop caretaker also lovingly watched out for this collection of vehicles stored within a climate controlled warehouse. This shop was not allowed to have the doors left open to prevent dust from getting on the plastic covered vehicles inside to give you an idea of how clean the shop was kept. You could literally walk the warehouses barefoot and not get any dirt or dust on your feet. All vehicles were stored with carpet squares under the tires, hooked up to trickle chargers, with fuel stabilizer added. Vehicles would be run to operating temperature once a month along with being fully hand detailed every 6 months using Pinnacle Wax from Florida and water which had been filtered by a custom $15k water filtration system installed in the shop just to wash the owners vehicles. \r\n\r\nThe original owner had this vehicle built for the sole purpose of being used personally on weekends with beautiful weather permitting here in Southern California. This vehicle was raced locally here in Southern California at Button Willow, Autoclub Speedway, etc. This vehicle was only raced on track, no off road use whatsoever. Both the original owner and his brother built matching sister Corvette Race Cars by Excelsior Motorsport. Originally both brothers purchased brand new Z06 automatic models and had them modified for track use but found shortly after that regardless of the modifications done, the automatic transmission Z06 cars would overheat the transmission fluid which caused the vehicles to be ineffective at the track. Even though these vehicles were privately campaigned, both brothers are extremely competitive and would treat their track days as a professional would. My guess is that the track days were a day for family therapy away from work, but from an outsiders perspective it appeared these brothers were sponsored racers. On track days the brothers would arrive in a privately owned Toterhome pulling a 4 car race hauler with 2 built in car lifts. The goal for these weekend trips was to go fast, enjoy family time, and bring a bad ass car to the track to hone in on their driving abilities. As such, both brothers sold their practically new automatic Z06s and purchased matching 7 Speed Manual Z06 cars and sent them both straight to Excelsior Motorsport to be track purpose built. \r\n\r\nThe only reason this vehicle is being offered for sale is due to the original owners passing in 2022 from a health ailment which came about unexpectedly. This vehicle is consigned to us by the family estate and the only goal is to find a good home for this vehicle who will appreciate the quality and care that went into this cars build. The original owner noted that in his opinion Excelsior Motorsport is one of the top speed shops in the country when it comes to Corvette modifications. Money was not an option or care in regard to this vehicles build; the goal was to have a monster at the track which could be used as an escape from a busy business mans daily life. The total price of the modifications he had done to his sister car were over $58,000 to give an idea of price, and a dyno sheet showed the sister car made 645.22Hp and 618.81 Torque to the wheels.
