I'll do my best to answer all of your comments and questions over the next few days. \r\n\r\nA bit about the car - this has been my baby since the day we bought it. I always had a nostalgic fascination with the W126 and had it on my list of dream cars for years. We found this car in New Jersey in the color combo I was looking for as I think it shows the design well while hiding dirt better than a flat black. From the day we brought it home, I have had it maintained and serviced and approved every repair that was recommended over the last decade plus of ownership. The head gaskets and seals, the rear suspension and accumulators, the fuel pump, the power steering, transmission bushings, horns, radio antennae etc. etc. etc. \r\n\r\nI tried to keep it in the garage and under cover as much as possible. The wood was starting to look faded around 2018 so I had the pieces removed and sent to Madera Concepts where they refinished them all back to new condition. When the door panels were off for the wood removal, I had all of the rear window regulators changed (they're prone to failure) and had the window switches replaced in the console with new OEM switches so it would look as good as new.\r\n\r\nI have been on the fence about selling it for over a year as I'm tight on space but didn't want to part with it as I truly love it. But I just won my first auction on BaT in November for a great R129 which will need a garage space so that was the tipping point.\r\n\r\nThe paint is all original and showing some clear coat fade around the rear 3/4 passenger side by the trunk, shown in the pics. I debated having it repainted but was worried that it would diminish the value if we messed with the original state of the paint. I was driving my wife and her brother to their grandmother's funeral in Ohio when I got pulled over in Pennsylvania going 30 mph over the speed limit -- easy to have speed creep up in these cars.
