It\u2019s much much stiffer, i always tell people it feels like the suspension is made out of diamonds it\u2019s that rigid, makes my scuderia feel not that stiff and my M4 feel like a Cadillac, aero is so much you actually can feel it at 60+ Like you got a sail on your car and the front end grip Is so strong you actually oversteer before you ever understeer which would be next to impossible to do in 997 gt3. It\u2019s also a hell of a lot louder and the revs go by much faster obviously. Doesn\u2019t feel like 105 more horsepower, more like 300 I\u2019m not even joking I can\u2019t even tell u why i don\u2019t know haha i guess the Nurburgring times reflect this....Something else I never thought about pdk being a big advantage i didn\u2019t foresee is the fact it has 7 gears. The 6 speeds would be a little long legged in the gt3rs And i always thought they were long for the 997 gt3 as well. The gt3rs I daily drive because I\u2019m younger, but it is incredibly irrational to do so, the lwb are absolutely terrible seats to get in and out of....but i remind myself everything is relative once you get used to it it\u2019s fine, still more comfy than a 1955 speedster I\u2019m sure hahaha both epic cars, imo a gt3rs for 2x the price and 12 years newer is worth it honestly. I\u2019ve not had them fade on road or track on either my RS or my GT3, and I very much prefer the feel and modulation to steel. Were you using SRF? Then again, I use lightweight wheels on track so I\u2019m getting more of the benefit of their unsprung weight as well. I\u2019m clearly able to outbrake cars with steel rotors, no matter the session length. I guess YMMV, and I\u2019m enjoying a variety of tracks in the NE not the NW, so perhaps perceptions are different. This car looks absolutely superb and I recommend it to anyone who wants one of the finest driving experiences available. The only pleasure greater than piloting one on track is seeing the pleasure it gives friends when they take it out now and then. This example fills me with more joy because it has a few miles on it! It might catch up to mine if the next owner uses it well, and I hope they do. Perhaps the odd road jaunt to check it can deal with the exigencies of the real world. Nearly every Porsche owner there regularly switched to steel brakes, as did every porsche race shop who worked on our cars\nAnd DUDE I was so against it at first. How could a steel brake fade less and bite more consistent than a PCCB? Well I am no engineer so I still can't explain it, but there is zero question they knocked SECONDS off my lap times.\nThat being said, if you are happy with your PCCBs, then leave them lol!
