Our current hobby has gotten away from that as everyone now wants a car that was never produced, one that is absolutely perfect where event assembly line markings are very carefully painted on. They are perfect, boring repetitions that are sterile and cold. I know there are a lot of people are looking at this car thinking a full perfect restoration is what it needs. Maybe you can get a trophy or an NCRS Top Flight and be like most every other example out there. This car has been with this family for 50 years. And in that time it has lived right along with them. Yes it has aged flawed paint, dulled chrome and flaws but THAT is what makes it so special. You can spend a million dollars and never have this. You can spend 5 minutes on an overestored example and seen enough but here there is so much to see and wonder about. People call this just a good driver like it\u2019s some second rate car. I call it a driver as a compliment as it has lived not just stuffed away until the next show comes along.
