I'm not very familiar with the GT or California Special options, esp. for '67, but the exhaust seems out of place, I don't recall seeing a notch for that back there, but there were lots of options... and it looks like it was done well. On mine I had duals put on and dumped in the same area. THEN there is the console. I've put a couple into mine and it seems that the boot is wrong. On the AT's there was a cover that fit under that top part, on the manual there was a boot that fit into the opening. I like the grille with the lights. The typical sag isn't too bad. I like the wheels on this one. Also, on the trunk lid, as noted below, it seems off a bit... (was the quarter panel repaired or is the trunk lid just out of adjustment?) and... both of mine had chrome strips on them, but both of mine were plain jane notchbacks, not the gT and we're working with a 40+ year old memory. I left both of mine in Germany. :) Too bad about the sale failing. The wiring on these things are so simple... I'd check the alternator/regulator... (disconnect the battery, ohm it out... should be open if all switches and doors are closed... then disconnect the wiring to the alternator/regulator, if it then goes open, check those out... thinking that the regulator might be the issue, or a shorted diode...) the other issue is in the ignition system, does this use a ballast resistor? It's been so long since I've messed with one of these... I'm trying to remember if there is a mercury switch operated trunk light... if so, it could be on all the time... (had a Mercedes with a bad switch that would drain my battery). Otherwise, beautiful car, hope the buyer gets what they expect and it all goes well this time. I'm still working on my '89 Grand Wagoneer... got the tailgate glass with all new manual crank parts in place last night... next fix the sunroof electrics, window switches, seats and carpet and let y'all consider it for adoption. I love looking at the pictures and seeing the comments here. I actually don't know the history of the 4 speed transmission that I has put in, my mechanic at Allied Engineering felt it was in good working order though and I haven't had any issues with it . I think the restoration was rather well done by the previous owners but I am guilty of not replacing a few things like the spring for the trunk and the clutch pedal cover which keeps falling off. I would have had the cog for the speedo put in the next time it was in was in for work but as I decided to sell her I stopped putting money into her.
