It will not keep you cool in hot weather. The only viable options IMO are 1) buy a quality aftermarket 911 A/C system or 2) drive it without A/C. Understand in hot climates driving without good A/C is too uncomfortable. Living in the southeast where it\u2019s either warm or hot and humid most of the year, driving with windows down can feel like being in an oven. When driving I take Gatorade Zero, a frozen bottled water to cool down and a towel for wiping the sweat. \nThe rear engine air cooled design does not lend itself well to A/C. My personal favorite being the 87-89, preferably with limited slip. Superbly engineered with real driving in mind. You can easily spend many thousands mechanically and cosmetically.
