The VIN plate would be very easy to change if a title for the original plate is available. Unstamped reproductions are readily available. There might not be anything really wrong with this in order to fully enjoy this car, but it is evident in the photos that the body is later than the listed VIN. The VIN for this car's body would be greater than 60,000. A British Heritage Trust certificate would settle the facts on this car. Better detailed photos would also be helpful. \r\nI have a 46,000 car that was built in March of '59 and 51,000 car that was built in June '59. So this car could have been built before '60. In this case, only the TS55582 VIN is connected to a production date. Even the wiper motor has a month and year number stamped in the top cover.
