I don't know how all this works but I am here to answer any question you guys might have.\r\nI will upload the list of the things that were done on the car in the last 12 months.\r\nI love the car and sometimes I spend over an hour sitting in my garage and just looking at it next to my Porsche 964.\r\nPlease note that I have sourced a manual transmission, gear linkage, pedal assembly, a drive shafts , gear shifter and a brand new gear knob that is so hard to find.\r\nI Love the auto transmission and was looking for one but if you want you have most parts to do a swap.\r\nThe auto tranny shifts so nice and is in an excellent condition.\r\nThere a a few dings , a crease in rear right door but the car has an original paint all over as I am told by a local body shop, hence I didn't want to touch the body. Absolutely no rust whatsoever. The car starts a little harder and requires pressing a gas pedal a few times to start and it will need to be addressed sometime in the future. It was sitting and not being driven for about five years prior to my ownership.\r\nAlso as soon as you turn a steering wheel the antilock light will come on. I am told it is a sensor and some wires that are connected to the wheel but I haven't had a chance to check it. \r\nAlso the rear left side window doesn't open and the AC is not blowing cold as of two ays ago..I recharged it last year in July but it looks like it will need addressing too.\r\nOther than that, everything else works as it should.\r\nIts amazing how good it looks. Also I have sourced an original Bosh headlights, side blinkers are Bosh too. I own an 87 2.3-16 with a 5-speed and have read a bit about this. I would try to start mine and pump the gas, and experienced what I thought was a hard start. Read the manual (duh) and found that the factory recommended process was to NOT DEPRESS the accelerator but to simply turn the key to stop till it starts. Somewhere I read that it takes 3-5 seconds to start and that it may help to turn to acc for a sec to get the fuel pump fired up. Since I've followed this process and expected it would start in 3-5 seconds, I've never been disappointed. You may find you are better off not pumping the gas, that has been my experience. It's not going to start instantly like our more modern cars, maybe give it a few secs before you hit the gas.
