I Google Mapped it and you can see the truck in the driveway with a few other Dodge trucks. So I wrote the owner a letter. Dear Dodge Enthusiast.... and believe it or not he called me. He was interested in selling it. The truck was not drivable, carb in a box in the front seat he said so I made him an offer where is - as-is and he accepted it. I overnighted a cashier's check and several days later it was on a hauler to my home in Minneapolis. While that was happening I found a 1962 D200 I was looking for in El Paso, TX. I've really enjoyed the W200, correcting a number of issues with the carb, battery, drive train, and tires then driving it around a bit. The yellow color is deeply oxidized green and the white paint on the interior looks original. With the exception of the driver's side door there are no witness marks that would indicate the doors have been changed out. The Engineers had just designed a cab heater for the rear cab passengers under the seat. And it worked just fine until someone sat on the seat, which then crushed the assembly, smashing the fan blade against the radiator. I still remember having a team of them out there scratching their heads, and laying blame on each other, as to who should have thought of that. Also a HD NP435 4 speed trans. The gauge cluster is from a 62 to 64 by the looks of it. It does have the optional OP gauge, The crew cabs came with a HD dana 44 front diff that has the larger knuckles and a thicker axle wall housing. The headers look custom made as no header I've ever seen will fit without butchering the bellhousing crossmember. Love these trucks and the body style.
