The receipt from Anchor Pontiac-Buick dated March 2000 shows the warranty replacement of the defective unit. If you read down on the receipt below the word PARTS it states new unit was sent out for calibration. The mileage in/out and n/c confirms these facts. This reputable dealership, established in 1964, is still in business today.\r\n\r\nI\u2019ve included the flip side of the Comp Cam card that came with the car. The detailed information shown should answer any questions. Anyone listening to this car at idle can easily detect the distinctive lope of the cam. \r\n\r\nDriver's side tweeter slid down into the door. I\u2019d be happy to send a warm idle video. Give me a day.\n\nDashboard? I\u2019ve included a close-up of the passenger side dashboard. I\u2019d describe the surface as lumpy. \n\nLeaks? There are no leaks of any kind anywhere.\n\nEngine, trans or differential? The engine starts immediately and runs strong, the trans shifts smoothly, up and down. Shifting is a thrill. The differential is completely rebuilt (see receipt). My mechanic suggested GM used a weak rear knowing the end was near and developing a new design wasn\u2019t possible.\n\nPending issues? This is a very low mile car. In person it seems factory fresh. So, everything inside and out functions as built. Everything works. To my eye this car is as close to perfect as possible. The car presents like it just rolled out of the factory. There are no flaws in the paint (save the factory bubbles on the sail panel) or interior. It requires nothing. I would drive this car across the country today and back without hesitation.\n\nMaintenance/replacements? Other than regular oil changes there\u2019s been no need to replace anything. I drive the car at least every 30 days for at least 30 miles.\n\nModifications? There are no other modifications than stated in the ad that I know of. According to the second owner the original owner was a senior mechanic for a Pontiac dealer. He performed all the work personally. That\u2019s why there are no receipts for labor. From my experience and from what I was told, the car has always been garage kept and never driven in the rain.\n\nDyno tuned? Yes it has. I\u2019ve include a receipt and chart.\n\nRegarding overall driving experience. This car is lovingly referred to as the \u201cBeast\u201d for good reason. It\u2019s very powerful and very fast. Acceleration is heart pounding. Stopping power is amazing! It corners hard and sure. The sound it makes is sweet and low! American muscle at its finest.
