With respect to many cars that are 53 years old and do not get driven every day or very often, the cork gaskets and even many other newer types of gaskets leak. If you have more than one old car, you typically know what I am talking about (?). I have several old cars and not all leak or leak much but several do and there is frankly nothing wrong with any of them! I keep all my cars well maintained!\r\n\r\nI would be lying to you if I said this car has never leaked any oil. Do I have to keep an oil catch pan under the car, NO!\r\n\r\nI would like to add that my daily driver is an Audi Q8 and its service interval is 10,000 miles. There is pretty simple off the shelf kit that can be installed and it takes these guys about 2 hours.
