I welcome any and all questions about this museum worthy collector grade 1990 300zx Twin Turbo Manual Transmission example in gorgeous EH7 with 16k miles. I am a 25 year z32 enthusiast and z32 collector and am proud to offer you the opportunity to become the next caretaker of this pristine example. Photos do not do this car justice, I assure you. The car looks fresh off the showroom floor. It looks, feels, smells, and drives like a brand new z32tt, without any exaggeration. To my knowledge this is a nut and bolt all original example. It was cared for prior to my ownership by another Nissan enthusiast who was as detail oriented and picky on originality as me and when it arrived to me I was blown away at its condition. All original paint, no modifications, everything works and functions normally, a virgin z32tt that would suit any serious car collection. \r\n\r\nAccording to the GTR registry, this is 1 of 197 examples ever produced in 1990 for the American market in manual transmission with t tops. We all know the \"other\" yellow z32tt that sold here just a while ago. This might be the second lowest mile example yellow z32tt in existence. A true one of a kind opportunity. \r\n\r\nSome notes that I anticipate will be asked. Services: the prior owner was an engineer to my knowledge and serviced the vehicle himself. All fluids were maintained prior to my ownership. Given this was in a collection and not a \"driver\" I am informed the timing belt has not been changed. This, to me, adds to its rarity and desirability being as close to factory original as possible. Nut and bolt original vehicles like this are extremely rare. The only person that touches any of my Z cars is Sebastian at Specialty Z. He and I have been friends for over 25 years. I consulted with him and we agreed to leave this one in its original condition to maintain its rare \"virgin\" condition. He has often told me that in his over 25 year experience with z32's, he has never seen a timing belt fail unless the car was in overall poor mechanical condition and had leaking oil on the belt. This example is pristine and a true \"collector.\" I would hope this would remain a low mileage example in a collection somewhere. As such, and because only a handful of miles were put on the vehicle by myself, I did not find the need to do a timing belt service. Perhaps something the next caretaker can do if they so choose. The tires: again, I never intended to drive this car, although I started it up every sunday morning, let it get up to temp, and drove it around the block here near my home. I didn't find a need to change them out. They are in great shape and I left this up to the next owner to do if they so choose. When I had the car on a lift, I noticed the front tension rod bushings were brittle and had a small oil leak (they are filled with oil from the factory), so I replaced them with brand new OEM tension rods with brand new OEM bushings. Nissan badge on mustache: when the car came to me the \"N\" for the original Nissan decal on the front mustache was worn and half of the \"N\" letter was missing. I looked in my collection of parts and found one last \"NIssan\" OEM decal for the 1990 twin turbo, but it was for the rear of the car above the taillight on the spoiler trim. When I matched it up to the front to determine if it was the right size, it was a few mm off. These decals are NLA from Nissan. I had a professional remove the front badge and replace it with the original OEM Nissan badge as you see in the photo. Unless you look closely with a trained eye, you can't notice. But full transparency that the Nissan decal there was changed by me. \r\n\r\nPaint meter readings confirm uniformity across all panels and this is 100% original paint. Interesting fact: the prior owner mentioned to me that the paint has never been polished or waxed to my knowledge. I typically do a color correction and ceramic coating on all my vehicles, but this one, given its originality and virgin paint, I decided not to. \r\n\r\nI am known as a z32 collector by many. A lot of Z32tt cars have come and gone in my collection. I am offered cars quite often. This one took me over a year to acquire from the prior owner. It is by far one of the cleanest, most original, and desirable z32 twin turbo cars in this condition in existence, at least to my knowledge. This car really needs a few modifications to be truly enjoyable, IMHO. \n1) OEM Brakes are absolutely horrendous, and are not even cut out for a Corolla. These must be upgraded with larger front rotors and calipers. OEM units were a large mismatch to the weight and power of this vehicle.\n2) Subframe bushing spacers are a 100% improvement on this car, nearly eliminating the insidious rubbery wheel hop that will be certainly exacerbated by bushing age.\n3) Intake, downpipes, intercoolers, ECU, clutch and a mild exhaust make this car outstanding. Anything beyond that begins rapidly diminishing the NVH, originality, and reliability. You will see minor imperfections with are common for a car of this age, such as minor lifting of the tweed near the door pulls, or extremely minor wear on the leather, all of which can be fixed easily. But given I like them as original as can be, keeping the condition of the vehicle in its honest/true original form was of paramount importance to me. Nissan poured an incredible amount of R&D into them. A billion dollars in total development cost start to finish. And that was in the late 1980's! They used costly high-strength sheet metal in the doors and front fenders for example. No one does that, even today. An aluminum hood, hand welded uni-body seams in key areas. The T-top version has the same torsional rigidity as the slick top. Nissan made it that way with extra bracing and high strength materials. They spent hours and hours dyno tuning the intake plenum. That's why you don't see an aftermarket version. This car is the real deal. I don't think a better sports car has existed for under 50K IMO.\n\nNo need to re-engineer the brakes for street driving, fresh fluid and Stop-Tech pads do wonders. Add a master cylinder brace from Z1 for even better pedal feel. A set of OEM wipers would top off this beautiful example. They are still available last I checked. Keep in mind there is a separate PN for driver and passenger side even though they are the same length. I know, they engineered the heck out of this car.
