As the details mention, it was a frame off restoration in 2008 as a project truck by a senior executive at Ford Motor Co. Shown restoration receipts total $17,000 although that was a steal even at the time. Truly a time capsule like no other Courier in existence!\r\nI'm including an additional set of wheels and 8 dog dogs caps. The wheels need to be restored and powder coated, but would be an amazing option with the existing white walls. I also had a custom cover made for the truck. \r\nI was as detailed as possible in the pictures, videos, and description. You are 100% correct. Thank you for catching that. The 73 model came standard with 4-speed, however in 76 they had an optional 5-speed. When they rebuilt the truck in 08 a 5-speed gearbox from a 76 was installed. I did not catch the discrepancy on the BaT listing. There are 5 forward gears, I am attaching a driving video I just ran out and took, this is the truck in 5th at 50-60 mph. The knob shown in the video rotates left and right. Left cools and right heats. Its pretty analog so it's more of a turn and feel kind of thing. Again I never used the AC or heat during my ownership, I only took the truck out on temperate days with the windows down. Never in the rain either. I had a '74 while I was in college. My friend's dad drove it once and teased me for years following that it had one working front brake and one working rear brake :). My dad bought it for $800 in 1990'ish for me to use at college. We (my brother and I) drove it for the next 5 years or so at college and put about 60K on it - put hardly any $$ into its maintenance and Dad sold it for $1000 after we were done with it. My brother and I are both over 6' tall so we had to fold ourselves into it for the 4 hr drives between home and school - that 4 cylinder screamed down the interstate with no overdrive.
