I own and race three historic Datsun race cars (including this one) in vintage racing clubs. I have participated in the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion on four separate occasions (five if you count one year as a double entry). My two other historic Datsun race cars are a Under 2.5L Trans Am Datsun 510 / B-sedan and the FAR Performance / Bay Area Datsun Dealers 240Z that will participant in the Monterey Historics in the coming weeks. I am a huge Datsun history nut. I have meticulously documented and been in contact with many of the surviving individuals who were involved with my race cars. When restoring my cars, I tend to guiltily tend to 'overdo' it. Not only is the body done with high quality PPG single stage paint (period correct), every nut and bolt replaced with either AN (aircraft) equivalents or high grade metric, but everything original that is not a safety reliability is restored (on this car most notably the in-period fabricated dash, door panels, catch cans, etc.). All the handcrafted aluminum on this car has been anodized black, not just painted over. All the photos shown in this auction are only a portion of a larger collection and will be passed onto the next caretaker. \r\n\r\nI welcome all questions about the vehicle. \r\n\r\nTo answer the question from @Celsius on fuel and compression ratio, the motor is a Rebello Racing motor that was built in the 90's, and unfortunately I never received the exact blueprinting documentation.
