I bought the car because it\u2019s super cool.\r\nIt bounced around ownership a bit before I bought it on eBay 2 years ago. The car had lots of issues, wiring, ignition, slipping clutch, hard start, misfires, hard to select gears, etc. I repaired the wiring, replaced plugs, coils, wires, suppressors, clutch assy, clutch master and slave cylinder, brake master cylinder, shifter bushings, radiator, electric fan, battery, engine oil, added custom poly windows, new headlights and stock A cond used taillights.\r\nWheels and tires, some paint work, new windshield, etc..\r\nThe harness builder and tuner is located in Pompano Beach FL. and I will share his contact info to the buyer. He reported that the car dyno-ed @ 230HP/210ftlb.\r\nPrevious owner reported:\r\n1997 Euro E320 stock engine\r\n5 speed w124 717 manual transmission (not 16v dogleg) Koni front struts, Bilstein and H&R rears Uprated sway bars, 6 point roll cage. Sliding roof welded shut. Aluminum fuel lines front to back and aeromotive equipment, hoses & fittings. I don\u2019t know why the front strut tower brace is missing. The intake pipe was shortened because there was no longer a need for MAF. Has big throttle body with TPS instead. The wheels are compomotive and great quality, the cheap tires were chosen because I had no intent to race the car, just drive around town with my friend\u2019s dealer plate for fun! I have the 16\u201d genuine OZ superleggero wheels available if some one wants them to use with racing tires. The roll cage is very well made. I don\u2019t know the specs. or class but I will have a knowledge friend come by to answer that and I\u2019ll report back. I\u2019ll also check the diff ratio. Brakes and hubs are stock size, front drilled with Hawk race pads. Could use steel braided hoses at least, but stops well.\r\nAlso could use a battery tie down or smaller setup.\r\nThe car is light, stiff, fast and a blast to drive!\r\nThe head gasket does not leak or overpressurize and I can tell that it\u2019s been replaced before, from having done so many m104s. In it\u2019s current state you won\u2019t be chasing M3\u2019s around, you will likely be passed multiple times by the same M3\u2019s in a single session.\r\n\r\nThe potential in these cars for track enjoyment lies in the incredibly rigid chassis along with the multi link rear suspension and the high caster angle up front. There are many real track dampers and springs, i.e. Intrax, K&W, JRZ, Ohlins, some examples will cost more than double what this car is worth. Bolt on some sticky tires and you would eat the typical M3\u2019s lunch any day of the week.\r\n\r\nShould the next owner wish to actually track this car they will need to do a lot of suspension and brake sorting, similar to what the current owner has done in other areas.\r\n\r\nOnce this car was sorted, I would ditch that wing, which would destroy your handling on track any way, in favor of a small wing like the 16v.
