For anyone considering this car I'll add that the range 1 over revs amount to less than a 1/2 second over 13,000 miles. I'm fairly sure I've added this much on freeway on-ramps. As any cursory research will verify, range 1 and 2 don't matter. These ranges are at redline and about 200 over redline. The range 2 on this car, (16 ignitions), works out to 4/100s of a second. Barely a rounding error.\r\n\r\nExcellent car and to my mind, this is a perfect time to buy a 981 GT4 as pricing seems to have settled a bit over the last 12 months. For those of us lucky enough to be on the list for the 718 version, almost all our GT4s will have to be traded in to our Porsche dealers so I don't see a wave of used 981 hitting the market at bargain pricing.\r\n\r\n@CopenhagenGT, gave their opinion regarding the GT4 as a road car and I don't disagree with what he's said but for anyone who's driven a 911 as a daily driver, this is not a 911 or a non-GT Cayman. It's noisier inside, the suspension is more stiff and while I enjoy every moment in the car my wife prefers that we take another car for drive-outs with our local Porsche club.\r\n\r\nIf you want to join your local Porsche club and meet some awesome people for occasional track days, you cannot choose a better car.
