I do have the bill of sale from my acquistion and have no issue supplying an affidavit with a copy of that BOS for this transaction (giving visibility back to previous owner's information). Also, this vehicle has a vintage vehicle plate that will remain with me as I have to return to the state. The vintage program per Section 40-12-290 Code of Alabama 1975 allows an owner of a qualified vehicle to obtain the tag for a one time fee. The description of a qualified vehicle is a private automobile over 30 years old, operated as a collectors item (not general transportation) and the vehicle must be substantially original. So, to clarify this will be a bill of sale transaction with no title. It was most defiantly not Rust Free!!! In truth I am on the tail end of a frame off resto. I had to replace all of the body panels inside and out , on the lower 1/4 of the car. When the car was restored in the later 1990's. It was just bondoed over, the trunk floor was replaced but never painted!\nAll of the mechanical components were completely worn out. I had the rebuild or replace, the Rear end,Trans, Engine,The suspension bushings were ok. Oh the front brake disks were ok after I had them turned. I am 61and should have known better. This was not my first collector car purchase,but it will be my last. I should have looked at the car in person. In the end I will have a great GT6, that I will be upside down in for a long time. I did not purchase this car to resell or flip.
