First time took a bit to realisze, \"Ah, the frame has to be oriented this way\", and to get it neatly folded, but I'm fairly quick with it now. Putting it on is actually quite straightforward. I had my 75-year old dad put it up, with him having no idea how, and even he thought it was reasonable. 981/982 Spyders much easier, NC and ND Miata tops still the easiest in the business.\r\n\r\nCompared to my 981 Spyder it's a bit of a cartoon character. It genuinely rumbles at idle to where you even feel it through the carbon buckets. Same paint, wheels, etc. Only difference is the gray interior vs red. To be candid, I was apprehensive about the mag wheels, as I thought I preferred the look of the heavier 'sprocket' wheels, but in person, I far prefer the magnesium wheels, especially in this colorway. \r\n\r\nI cannot say enough good things about this car. Both on track and the street. The only thing that comes close to the driving/sensory/acoustic experience is my old Ariel Atom. It's fun at 3/10s in traffic, but it holds it's own at COTA (though it's a bit harder to drive on the limit on track vs a GT4RS). It's a blast to do 155+ down the back straight!\r\n\r\nIt's a completely different level of comfort and usability on the street versus a GT3, 3RS, and 4RS. Compared to the 4RS, the spring rates of the SRS are down by 55 percent in front and 43 percent in the rear.\r\n\r\nI was on the fence on the LWBs, as it's primarily a street car for me, but it turns out that it's way easier to get into the seats with no top! And the top is not that bad to get up and down... silly youtubers make it seem like a clown show for the likes/subscribes, but it takes less than a minute.\r\n\r\n@tacoma211 - I share your concern about hearing damage. I am one to carefully guard my hearing at concerts, race tracks, power tools, etc. On track in my SRS, wearing headphones under a helmet (to communicate with my coach/partner), it's completely safe. During normal driving with the occasional WOT, it's loud but not worrisome (according to my Apple watch). On spirited street driving, it's marginal... So I bought a pair of higher end earplugs designed for concerts/musicians that I keep in the glove box.
