Very nice compared to a samurai, tracker, etc. Even had headlight washers! Capable from the factory but there isn't much aftermarket support. Went places my friends sport wrangler would get stuck. I had a local shop make some suspension parts for it and managed a reasonable 2 in lift, so parts aren't easy (and this was 12 years ago). Lots to like about it and the engine was very reliable, but it certainly wasn't fast. Most were trashed and a low mileage rocky in good condition is hard to find. Most imports are RHD. It reminds me most of a Land Cruiser BJ74 I sold a few years back, but it is much more civilized, comfortable, and composed. Everywhere we drive it, people who pay attention to such oddities turn heads and give thumbs ups. I have an M20 in my daily driver 325iX and its M21 diesel cousin is right at home to any M20 owner, just with a more accessible torque curve. It's a diesel motor that you can actually rev (and need to to exploit its full potential), which is quite satisfying. \r\n\r\n@WAGONBOYTD I can get a better picture of that for sure. \r\n\r\n@watchcarefully I don't reckon it's a quick ordeal to remove those, but I'll investigate that further and report my results. \r\n\r\n@mtaa It cruises comfortably at 120KM (75mph) , but it will take a minute to get there (figuratively and not quite literally compared to modern cars).
