If everyone wants to see what the rear seat should look like check out the 1994 LS400 that sold back in May of 22 (lot# Lot #73078 on BAT). I don't think blue interior was offered after 94, but the seat back sure looks like it came from a 95 and on LS based on the layout of the leather on the seat back on this car - who knows how this came to be - but it's very common for the LS to have cooked leather with split seams on the seat back (hence my question to the seller on this earlier). It's obviously been replaced or redone (incorrectly). This car is gorgeous. 1993 and 1994 are the best years by far for this car IMHO. Unique to these two years was the addition of a passenger airbag, while keeping the old blocky dash. I believe bigger brakes were also added, larger tastier wheels to accommodate the brakes, and 1994 was the last year before the whole car got a serious facelift. In 1995, the car got a bit more round, lost the bigger rear light bar, lost the awesome blocky dash, and gained an interference motor, which to me is a downer as far as reliability goes. Might I add this car doesn't have the optional air ride nonsense. On top of all of this, its finished in a badass two tone paint job with a blue interior to match!! I'll take the blue interior over the much more common tan any day! I'd bid on this car in a heartbeat if I wasn't a broke college student, lol. Whoever takes this thing home is gonna be one happy sailor. Yes you do want those things. People here have addressed the common failure points and they can add up if you have to do all of them at once. But get them out of the way and you'll be smooth sailing. The current price is right on. If you put 4-5k into this car it should be near perfect, but you could just drive as is and do a little at a time. This is a non-interference engine and no one on the forums has ever reported a timing belt failure.
