However it worries me that the seller is looking for springs on the rear of the vehicle. The rear suspension works on torsion bars. you can have them raised and lowered by indexing them. Most seasoned VW mechanics can handle that. Want worries me on this car is that there is evidence that the Left axle seal is leaking and it doesn't appear its been addressed. See photo 80. It was done at the same time as sealing the transaxle. Also. this is a very first Beetle I have even owned.
