As for the interior, it has an aftermarket one, so you should not consider this car as a car to use as an example when restoring one. I bought a new interior from Italy for my car, but since the hardtop version is so very rare there, all they could do was supply me with the headliner material. I've been doing all the brake work on my own cars and other owners for 63 yrs, and they're all the same basically. Shoes, cylinders, hoses, pipes - all can be handled by various different suppliers locally unless Vegas is an automotive desert. There is a shop in Minn. - Brake & eqpt warehouse - to which I've sent my Panhard cylinders and Goliaths, as they can match any seal, sleeve cyls with stainless, which is the only way to go to avoid future seizeups from sitting with DOT 3 fluid (Or convert to silicone). They've always fixed up any oddball master and wheel cyls I've sent them and reasonable prices. If you can find an old paper copy of Bendix/Raybestos brake parts catalogs before all went digital, I've been able to cross-reference nearly any brake hose. These catalogs list all threads, hose lengths, literally near anything ever made re brake parts, including cylinders. B & A Friction in San Jose Ca., where I often go when I'm in Ca., can reline anything with whatever material you want. \r\nIf you were in the SF bay area, I'd take on your job, as I've seen every version of hydraulic brakes in the world - from Citroens, Panhards, Goliaths, Matras, Renaults, Studebakers, Mercedes, Triumphs, Bristols, and hopefully soon a '37 Cord 812. I don't care what the make - they all function via the same basic principles - and if necessary, I make my own by modifying what's available. Worst car to work on re brakes was a friend's '52 Mercedes 220A cabrio - their design was ridiculous - I counted near 80 small parts that I could have thrown away as they were unnecessary if the Deutschers had just eliminated their fixed heel shoe design - idiotic - perfect example of over-engineering for naught. Fiat shows chassis 011325 as the last 1936 chassis and their listing may indeed describe only when a chassis was completed and numbered. If so, they still had to complete the car in order to sell it. Chassis 011067 was given an origin date of 7 January 1937. Chassis 012410 had an origin date of 12 February 1937. \r\n\r\nThe specific data I have shared here comes from Italian registration records that reported the date of the car's Certificate of Origin and much more. Such a certificate was required in order to register a car for the road in Italy. Cars made for export did not require them. The registration records also recorded the sale date and oftentimes the selling dealer's identity and the purchaser's name. There can also be a record of a loan which had to be cleared prior to selling the car on to another owner. There is the date of the issuance of the license plate in the local area. When the car was sold on, the sale information was recorded in the record. If the car remained in the same locale, the car could retain the same license plate number. If the car left the locale for an owner in another area served by a different office of the Pubblico Registro Automobilistico (PRA) then a new plate would be issued in that area and there would be a new record kept in that office, That record highlighted the earlier history (forwarded by the previous office) and returned a note to that previous PRA office reporting the new plate number assigned to the car.\r\n\r\nAs an example, recent research of a 1929 Alfa Romeo revealed ten owners from 1929 to 1939 and six different license plate numbers issued during that time period ... and then the car was exported. Oftentimes the export destination is not recorded but it was South Africa in this case.
