Having never driven one before, it\u2019s been quite an eye-opener. These things sure can handle! Each winter, I would focus on a few areas of the car, and each summer, it has been even more fun to drive than the last.\r\nA bit of background on the car: \r\nAs far as I know, and based on the records I have, this is a black plate car that has spent its life in the California until I purchased it in late 2017. The registration-matching black plates came on the car when I bought it and will accompany the car when it goes to its new owner. The alphanumeric sequence seems to corroborate that it was plated in CA in 1967. When I removed the axle to add grease and duct tape the flexible boot to temporarily hold the grease in, a couple dozen or so needle bearings dropped out into the gravel and I knew it was toast.
