I've decided to up the insurance value of my MK8 after watching both of these auctions. Mine is original with 32K miles, I did get the HT Certificate and I have several Jag Club Awards Plates that were in the car when I purchased from the family who owned it for 35 years. As I age knowing none of my children want my cars I'm going to let a few go and at least provide insight to the values of the remaining cars so they get what they are worth. This site is good to view and possibly buy but selling is another task I'm not sure works for me.
