The original rear end I believe is 3.27 and I have not changed it. I do not think the previous owner did either but I can't be sure, seems correct. The car was an overdrive model see photo 183. I raced a GT6 for 10 years and that original gearbox will not take the power! With this engine I knew it needed to be changed so I went with the 5 speed and it was a great choice. As far as the plate not having a number, let me know if I need to photograph something in better detail. The car was originally a dark green and you can see the previous owner spent a lot of money on the body but not the spare tire well. Regarding the comment on the temp guage, I mentioned that to the photographer that I needed to investigate that so I ordered a new temp sensor and I will post a new video in the next couple days to show it working properly. The car has never overheated with the new radiator and fan set up. I will assure you that we had oil temp before that video was shot, 5000RPM is not a problem and all my cars are never taken over 3000 until I have oil temp. I did point a gentleman 6' 4\" away but most will be very happy in long drives just know that you need to keep your head down getting in. That is especially true when wearing a helmet! I have read many comments about the triple Weber's and there is something about side drafts that raises your blood pressure! They also make a cool noise. If you listen closely to the on-ramp video you can first hear them sucking air, then when I really opened them up the entire tone just gets mean! The car is great fun and the 5 speed gear box makes it an outstanding high speed cruiser. I had a dumb spell and thought I could out-brake him going into Canada Corner at RA and I ended up in the sand trap with the car on its roof! I quickly shut off the fuel pump and you can't believe how flexible and fast you become when bailing out the passenger window.
