I store this beauty at a climate controlled facility here in Palm Springs. When I went to take it out and bring her home for a couple weeks, one of the tires had a leak. There is a mechanic adjacent to the storage facility, so I simply drove the car there, asked him to repair the tire and check the cooling fan, as it stayed on for a couple minutes after turning the car off, even though the engine wasn't hot. This mechanic has never worked on my car before. In any event, he fixed the tire, and replaced the exhaust temperature sensor. It also needed new battery (there are two) so that was taken care of as well. The mechanic told me that he thought the turbo may have a leak because he heard a tapping noise. I took the car home for three weeks and she ran great. I never heard any tapping or any other unusual sound. My usual mechanic has worked on this car here in Palm Springs for the past three years, and if there were any issues I would have taken the car to him. So, I wanted to be forthcoming and disclose that this particular mechanic heard something he thought may be a turbo leak, but I heard nothing unusual after having it home for three weeks and driving it daily. I don't know the cost to replace all of those items if in fact replacement is needed. However, I can tell you the following: 1. The Antennae was replaced in October of 2017. Parts and labor total was $944. It has been working fine an actually stopped working just the day of the photo shoot. I can't imagine it needs a new antennae after just two years, but I have not had it assessed. The SIRIUS satellite works great and is not affected by the antennae issue. 2. The TPM does work. When I went to retrieve it from storage in May, the \"Flat Tyre\" light was on and sure enough I had a flat rear tire. I had it repaired. While it works, the right front low light remains on even though the tire is not low. In October of 2017 I had all new tires installed, including four new sensors. Cost for tires and sensors was $2,358. So, while the TPM will tell you if there is a low tire, the warning light comes on. It may be that the right front sensor is not working right, but I have not had it assessed. The mechanic who fixed the tire told me he thought the shocks may need replacing, but I did not get an assessment by my regular mechanic so I don' t know if they are in fact bad, or how much that would cost. Same on the back up lens. I rely more on the beeping sensors (which work great) and rarely use the back up camera. Hope this helps. It is possible that this car again needs new gas springs as they do every few years and the tire mechanic who may or may not be familiar with these cars could have mistaken this for new rear shocks. There is a large price difference between the rear gas springs and the shocks. A harsh but bouncy ride is a telltale sign of needing gas springs. The mileage is very accurate and certifiable. The Bill of Sale and the State of Florida Title certify the mileage as 12,183 miles on December 18, 2014. That is the date I bought the car. When I moved to California, the car was shipped to me in an enclosed carrier and the California Title shows actual mileage as 25,446 on October 1, 2017. All of the service records corroborate mileage accordingly. In addition, when Exotic Car Service replaced the center module on August 28 of last year, the mileage was 29,390 the day it went in for module replacement. Since then, the new module shows just under 1,000 miles driven. It also has a clean CarFax report. The mileage reported is certainly accurate. As far as synching the new module with the old, yes, it is my understanding that the Bentley dealer can do that but I have not spoken with them. Frankly, this was not a big deal to me. The mileage is easily certifiable as stated above so spending the money to have it synched just was not important to me. On the contrary, having a new module is a great benefit as these can fail and it was over $6,300 to replace. I've owned three Bentley's (a 1999 Azure, a 2009 GTC, which I custom ordered brand new, and this Arnage is my third). This Arnage was custom built, and is a very special car. I know this breed well and while I wouldn't spend the money to synch the odometer, I can certainly understand if the next owner wants to do so. I also replaced the rear gas springs in 2017, as well as all new tires.
