If this is the case GK would have bought it from Chevrolet after it came out of service. Further evidence of this is shown on the GK Chevrolet bill of sale where they denote it as a used car in the box \"new or used\" there's a U. It would still have been sold to GK on an MSO making the buyer the first owner. This would explain high options, the big discount, \"U\" on the bill of sale, why it wasn't sold until November of 1968 and why the owners log recorded 8,000 miles the first year of use and it took another 10 years to accumulate an additional 8,000 miles.
