I love looking at it so much I parked it right beside my desk so I can stare at it all day! \r\n\r\nNot to be confused with the pedestrian Non-R, this is the car for those who felt a Formula Atlantic Car with a license plate was the only way to experience life. This is IT \u2013 the purest most unbelievable car in which you can buy for street use to day. Truly a high tech open-wheel race car in form and experience, there is literally NOTHING in which to compare it.\r\n\r\nPurity is paramount in the experience and so is clarity. I can not say I can recall driving anything on the street in which provides more in the moment exhilaration. There are no super cars, no modded Texas Mile cars \u2013 nothing.\r\n\r\nWith only 30 cars made, this car, #18 features the gorgeous red and gold color scheme and is outrageous to behold. Burgundy carbon in some light, black carbon in others, it reminds me of the very famous Iron Man livery and the gorgeous Burgundy on Gold Regera. Some common questions/statements with our thoughts below:\r\n\r\nI Need Outdoor Shots!\r\n\u00a0Not to worry, we add outdoor to nearly every auction of ours, so if you do not see them in the gallery below yet, make sure that Watch button above is clicked!\u00a0 But in most cases they are in the gallery too.\u00a0I think it's worth mentioning as there is usually someone who asks about the merits of studio vs outdoor and there are pros and cons to each. We have found that the indoor light is quite a lot better at showing actual condition. I think there is an idea that somehow the indoor shots hide flaws when it is really quite the opposite. The indoor lights will show a fly\u2019s eyelash left on a car and we spend quite a bit of time on every car making sure that they are prime time ready. The light is more consistent and because it's controllable, it allows for pictures unaffected by clouds, time of day, angle, background and more. Outdoor shots have their place for sure and with certain paints can show off the flip/flop of pearls and highlight some colors more, but with the sun creating shadows and highlights, creates incredibly inconsistent shots that often times hides condition or hyper exaggerates it. We like both and we generally show both, but I definitely like sharing the experience of us having photographed thousands and thousands of cars that the studio makes for a more truthful environment for condition in most scenarios.\r\n\r\nDo you Photoshop your Pictures? \r\nWe do not retouch any flaws on cars in post-edit or photoshop nor add filters. Other \"extreme\" cars are dull compared to a Mono. It's hard to describe what it's like to people and you can't take them for a ride to show them. I haven't driven an Aston Martin Valkyrie, but from the videos I would guess it's one of the only other road legal cars that can deliver the experience of a Mono. Cars of this type are keepers. It's not a Ford F (much lower hp & torque), which is designed for the track specifically, BAC Mono's are production cars that gives road drives that special experience of only youself, the elements and road, like a bike but much better, and since this kind of car can be taken to the track, switch to slicks and will give you Formula F3 level because it is that capable due to the advancement of materials, tech and research BAC did to reach those goals. Montune is doing a good job with the engines for BAC, the reason Judd V8s aren't the engine choice was because of emissions and noise level (not a big problem with me), its much lighter, has way more HP and Torque, nearly 12,000 rpm redline! It would produce levels that would match Formula F2. The Mono R set the fastest lap record (1:32.9 6)for a production car at Red Bull Ring in Austria, beating the time of a La Ferrari.
