You can kind of find the beaters for $5,000 but than restoration adds a lot. Or from the UK they are even cheaper but you got to ship it. \r\n Or the super nice ones are like $15,000 +. There was even a Left hand drive in a maroon color that sold on ebay for I think it was $24,000. I was out bid early on that one. That was an exotic.\r\n\r\nI wish there was a Manual Trans, but it's still such a cool third or fourth car. And it would show nicely at any car show. Maybe a conversion to EV at some point.\r\n\r\nThis car is anti-american. Everybody drives CUV's or monster trucks now days. RAV4 or CR-V sell like 400,000 a year, that's what you want. Catalytic converter is not cut. It is not visible on pictures because it is located above the downpipe under the hood. In Japan a car every year has to go through the governmental inspection and if something is not right the owner is required to get it fixed before allowed on the road. We got some of the maintenance records translated. 2005 through 2015 there were various boots replacements, oil changes, brake fluid changes, tie rod end replacements, steering rack, fuel filter etc. When the mileage was 84,657 KM the record says \"all belts were replaced\", it is kinda vague so I am not sure if the timing belt is one of those belts too. No record of tires been replaced. Tires can be found on Amazon for about $52 each. Put the name of these tires on Amazon: Nankang CX668 Radial Tire - 165/70R12 77T\r\n\r\n3. The aftermarket fob is a key-less entry. We have 2 keys for the Figaro. Blank keys with the Figaro logo can be easily found online for about $25.\r\n\r\n4. The original owners manual is included and is currently on the way from Japan. \r\n\r\n5. All switches such as: AC, headlights, antenna retractor, signals, radio, fan controls, window regulators work. Not of a particular importance but the radio broadcast band in Japan is 76-90 MHz. \r\n\r\n6. It does not look like any rubber seals require immediate attention. \r\n\r\n7. Photos of the \"trunk\" will be uploaded in a few hours. Spare tire is there, tools are there. \r\n\r\n8. We have had customers from Washington State in the past. The border crossing was easy with the paperwork we supply. Our last customer from the States rented a trailer from a Uhaul, for about $20 if I remember correctly, loaded the car and took it across the border without a problem (a real BaT move ;)). I would recommend to rent a trailer as to drive a car in British Columbia it must be insured at least 1 day.
