All high failure parts. Also inspect the alternator brushes/ voltage regulator. They wear down and and stop charging. You\u2019ll get no warning w/o a volt meter. Replace or defeat the air box thermostat. This trans. the M-47 is very reliable on the lower power engines. The Turbos made too much torque to use it. Easy swap. Any of the GL series 4 cylinder cars have the 80 mm tach. Remove the cluster 4 screws on the sides hidden by covers Unplug the wiring connectors on the back Install the tach. The power supply pins are on the circuit board. Find the WHITE WITH RED TRACER WIRE, either loose or taped to the harness. Plug that to the exposed connector in the center of the tach. That\u2019s the ignition signal wire. You may want to by-pass the temperature compensator board while you\u2019re in there.
