We are having the last 4 years worth of service receipts uploaded now as well.\n\nA bit about the car from us - This car spent most of it's life with a single family in PA until it was sold in December of 2015. It was then purchased and brought to North Carolina where the current owner bought it on eBay in August 2016 and shipped it out to Los Angeles. The current owner purchased it with just under 38k miles on it and has since put just about 1k miles on it in 4 years. BaT listed the car as TMU because this past year during service it was found that the gauge was not functioning so it was sent out and repaired. Because it was technically not working for a short time, they had to put TMU for full transparency. The current owner however put very few miles on the car during his 4 years of ownership so its believed that the gauge was not working for just a short time.\n\nDuring the 4 years of ownership, the current owner spent considerable money turning this survivor into one of the most sorted and pristine 944 Turbos we have ever seen. As you will see in the receipts, over $30k of work was done on the car from 10/16 until its last service in Feb 2020. All work was done by Marlon at Workshop 5001 in Los Angeles who is quite renowned in the Porsche world.\n\nOverall the car presents itself extremely well - the paint is mostly original although the front panels have been repainted at some point to repair rock chips. It - to me - reads like a bit of a harder life than 39K Porsche's often do. Not saying it's not an authentic car. Just that I was expecting less wear given the mileage. I drove straight to the shop, googled my driven route and had them add the miles...\nThis car has two things I am happy to have on my S2... the LSD and no rear wiper. There is no reason why we or the owner would try to hide a bunch of miles in the last few years. As you know the car was serviced by Marlon who is extremely reputable and would be happy to answer any questions you have if you are a serious bidder. We have also been storing and maintaining this car for the last 1.5 years and we can 110% assure you that we know if only a handful of miles put on the car during the last 1.5 years. So few miles have been put on the car in the last 4 years that the owner chose to have the car flat bedded to it's last couple services. Sure there were regular miles put on before the current owner purchased it, but this owner purchased it to collect and keep as a low mileage example as he has with many other of his cars. We totally understand that anytime there is a speedo issue, its common to question things but we are presenting an honest 39k mileage car that can be backed up by Marlon, ourselves and the owner. It's not all original paint. And though it's an 89, neither this exterior color or interior color are the most highly sought after. Given the fact you can find a 60K mile or less perfectly maintained all-original 951 on almost a monthly basis here on BAT, I think this car was bid to it's market value. This would be a great pickup for someone, but I understand why the seller might want to hold onto it.
