I've had BMWs owned by \"kids\" and the first thing they usually do is put a 1500 watt amp and huge subwoofers in the car. (I did not look to see if there were any additional cut-outs behind the rear seats.) (To be fair, the 2nd thing they do is Dinan....but the swaybars have as much patina as the car, so...) To me, a cheap radio means a) some dealer had to quickly and cheaply replace the old one that either wasn't working or was already upgraded and a dealership employee wanted, or b) the owner just didn't care about the radio. This car is not a gleaming example, but it doesn't seem overly rusty and, with the exception of the radio, multi-link swaybars and the bilstiens in the rear instead of the load leveling shocks, a VERY common swap, it looks completely stock. The toolkit is complete...another sign no kid owned it, and the surface rust on those tools means it isn't a replacement set. Those are newer front seats covers - not original but they look like a decent match. The listing mentions rust, but I don't see any through rust, just one odd hole that could have been a slipped jack. Overall, the car looks very good. No accident history (doesn't mean much on an older car but it still means something) and only a few owners. That dented rear passenger trim piece is one of several that are still available from BMW in black. I'ver already got 2 of these I'm restoring, but I would consider bidding on this one if I had the space and time for it. Not a complete flip from my previous comment, but after I looked more closely, it seems like a decent example and far less rusty than some other recent cars sold on line. In regard to the cruise control, we never formally tested as we tried to limit mileage added to the vehicle within the time frame of our ownership, I can gladly take the car out and give you a concrete answer on that item. Sunroof is fully functional - retracts, closes and tilts smoothly. The driver's side window and passenger window both have power and function as well. Both rear windows do not have power. The power mirrors also have limited movement, only able to move in the left direction. Right, up, down are not working as the car sits. The instrument panel is virtually flawless, fully functional display and gauges. There are no recent compression numbers that I can provide confidently. The car does not burn oil but please keep in mind as I mentioned before we've tried to limit seat time in the vehicle. \r\n\r\n@BR51 I do not see the mentioned crease nor crack on the pillar but we will absolutely try to get a better picture of the referenced areas. The only thing this seller didn't do is a compression test.
