This new powerplant would sport 428 ci, and would be a high torque, streetable big block. It was dubbed the \"Thunderbird 7-Litre \" and was slotted to appear on some of the 1966 models. Fords executives decided that what better way to introduce the engine than to create a special marque to showcase it. Using a Galaxie 500, with an XL Interior, some added features and some custom badges, the FORD 7-Litre was born. It was available in either Hardtop or Convertible, in either automatic or 4 speed transmission. Marketed as the \"Quietest Quick Car, or the Quickest Quiet Car\", the car offered a combination of comfort and muscle. I have been away. I charged the air conditioning last summer with an aerosol can and it blew cold. I know i di9d not have it fully charged. The buyer just needs to have it professionally charged.\r\n There is a statement somewhere in the add that says there is some corrosion on the underside. This is not true. The underside is totally original and completely sound the original exhaust is sound but has some surface rust at the front of the mufflers.\r\n I am the third owner since new. You will see this with the documentation, with the three registrations. Documentation has the original bill of sale. cancelled cheque, warranty plate, owners manual and more.\r\n Thank you.
