My ex wasn't good with a clutch and so when I found a 510 automatic when she was in need of a commuter, we bought it. She's had it for years...kind of a back up car for her, our kids and me. Not the \"classic\" early 510 but you still can't drive it anywhere without someone trying to buy it. It is a 2 door, the same color as this car....I ,personally, think they are more like the original than not. Tradition dictates that the ones you want are 70-73 four speeds.....510 Datsuns do sort of break the mold when it comes to collectability. 4 door sedans and station wagons are cool....you'll even see vintage sport racers made from \"door slammers\". 30 years ago the 510 was a popular but fairly well kept secret. Not any more. This one needs some rust repair, has an automatic that the seller describes as needing repair but I have no doubts that it will come up from here.
