They're wonderful high speed cruising cars. Maybe not best in class at a track day, but that's not what they're designed for. \n\nTo the uninformed, a DBS may seem like an expensive DB9 with a nice body kit. While that may be superficially true, the DBS has a carbon fibre hood, trunk lid, fenders and doors, making it about 70 pounds lighter than a DB9. It also has standard carbon ceramic brakes - which the write-up did mention. Finally, engine output is significantly higher: a higher compression ratio makes 510 hp compared to the contemporary DB9's 450. Torque is the same on both at 420 lb/ft but a shorter final drive makes the DBS marginally quicker. \n\nAgreed with everyone else that a video is a must. No music - just the sound from the Quicksilver exhaust. These things sound amazing straight from the factory.
