The suspension is simply better on this model and the 4.0 engine gives it much better pull in the upper range. \r\n\r\nAs it was with the 2016 model the gears are a bit too long, 2nd gear especially, but the extra power really helps alleviate that issue. \r\n\r\nThe 718 model is a bit heavier than the earlier model but not as much as the specs would indicate as Porsche had to abide by new rules for vehicle weight. \r\n\r\nMy only objection regarding the 718 is that the steering and the clutch are much, much lighter. This is, of course, just personal preference, as I tracked a 2016 for three seasons and got very used to that feel. Most people appear to be quite happy with the lighter clutch and steering and admittedly, if one were driving this to work in a city, it will be a much friendlier drive.\r\n\r\nGood luck with the sale. Who ever buys this will be incredibly happy with it. The only other Porsche I've driven that really compares is a 997.2 GT3, and that's high praise, for sure. Just watch that front splitter. Even my almost-flat driveway necessitates the use of a Bridgit ramp from the curb, so factor that cost into your outlay. The fact that this example is lightly-equipped is a big plus, in my eyes. That it's been PPF'd and ceramic coated is another huge positive as these things are magnets for stone chips. Substantially better than my 2016 Spyder. Engine intake is breathtaking and much more prominent at lower revs. Still has taller gearing than I'd want but still sounds and drives brilliantly. As noted earlier in the thread, suspension also much improved - and so is the Bose sound system. FWIW, drove this back-to-back with a 991.2 GT3 Touring.
