He's put approximately 2k miles on it and loves the car but, with all due respect to my buddy, loves buying great cars, experiencing them, and then moving on to another great car to experience from his master list! And such is the case here, a 2 car garage dictates the NSX must go to make room for a new car from Stuttgart. \r\n\r\nAs for the history I know it appears to have moved around a lot but it's actually more simple than that. Here's the rundown: @PSLarsen (Steve) purchased the car new, after its time as a dealer demo. Steve kept it until selling it here in 2023 to @Chi_PT who had it fully service by Science of Speed, the best in the business. But as described in his post of 6/9/2024 on the last auction, @Chi_PT sold the NSX due to a change in circumstance (new baby!) and storage issues in Chicago. It went to @kangarooster in 6/24 and was quickly offered for sale at FCA, where my friend purchased it shortly thereafter. Perhaps @kangarooster can chime in and say if he is affiliated with FCA, or a dealer who just sold it to them? In any event the current owner is the 3rd private owner of this sensational NSX.\r\n\r\n@gregtay the scrape on the edge of the driver's door was expertly repaired by my in-house painter, in the high end restoration shop I've owned and operated for 35 years now. (Yikes) It only required the very edge being wet sanded and then using a pinstripe brush to apply the tri-coat yellow and a topcoat of Sikkens bonding clear. It is imperceptible as the photos and video show. \r\n\r\nI'd encourage all interested parties to please watch all 3 videos, especially the walk around one where I do paint meter readings in real time, etc. \r\n\r\nThe car is available at my facility in Glendale Wisconsin for any type of PPI, third party inspection, or in person viewing prior to the end of the auction. The rotors still have crosshatching visible, and zero visible wear or \"lip\" at the edges. \r\n\r\nI'm also including the results of the April 2024 compression test and overview of the car's condition, as well as some notes from the original owner Steve (PSLarsen) re. I\u2019ve owned my 02 NSX for 13 years and have driven it in 41 of the lower 48 states, some of those states several times, and have had no serious mechanical problems on any of those trips. These cars were meant to be driven. And this car has about the same mileage as mine did when I bought it. These are amazing cars to travel in as long as you travel light. There\u2019s nothing better than the freedom to be able to drive a great sports car across country trouble free. The NSX community is a perk of owning one and opens opportunities for adventure in the car, with NSXPOS in different parts of the country every year that are attended by folks from around the world to Acura sponsored events. To me these cars are worth the money and very rare so they hold their value as long as you keep up the maintenance.
