Plan on lots of hours of work. Lots of the parts are the same as an MGB and are not expensive. Its the parts that are specific to MGC that get expense. I almost bought one of these a few years ago to restore, but before I bought it discovered that a replacement hood was almost impossible to find and the car needed a new hood. If the price does not jump too much I will be a bidder on this car in the last few hours. What I don't get is why MGC's in excellent condition go for so much. I understand Girling Mark II Brake Boosters properly rebuilt are $1,000 each in the US. The other big problem is Brake Master Cylinders. I sold it a year after it was done (before the filler and fiberglass could crack and fall off) along with my Pinto to buy a Fiat X 1/9.
