In my '57 TR3 there was a hole in the top of the tunnel, covered by a rubber grommet, a few inches behind the shift lever. The hole was similar to the jack holes in the floor board. If you removed the rubber grommet you could access the universal joint below to grease nipples to lubricate the joint. You didn't need to jack up or raise the car to get access. Yeah, she has some shortcomings but what car doesn\u2019t at 59 years young. \r\nBoth boot and bonnet should have raised \u201cplinths\u201d where the hinges mount. Hard to tell from pics but I believe these are not the original pieces. Front signal lenses should be clear. Windshield gasket at cowl should fit tight, no daylight showing through. Rockers have bondo. There should be a seam where rocker and front of rear fender meet. You can see the filler is cracking because the seam was filled over. Mystery dash fitting to the left of steering wheel was probably for the optional heater. Glovebox door should match the vinyl covering of the dash. Fender mirrors were a dealer installed option. These mirrors are in the wrong place and not the factory type. TR3Bs, especially the TCF series have fully synchronized transmissions and the bigger motor, shared with the then newly introduced TR4. Very, very desirable cars when in an unmolested, as close to original as possible state. These are 60 spoke, 48 spokes are standard. More is better with spokes. Old wire wheels do make very nice hose hangers in the garden. \r\nIt looks like the rear window provided with the hard top might not be correct for the top. \r\nThe hood catch in photo 51 is missing a rivet and looks damaged.
