Fiat prepared very for that and the car has hardley have any flaws. Engine is great (allthough not the same as the contemporary Dino V6) with a lot of grunt on lower revs and well engineered by the famous V6 engineer Lampredi. The Dino (coupes 2.4) later took over the rear suspension because it was better than the Dinos, and the interiors of these velours interiors keep up very well after 40 years, also wenn they had a sunny live in Italy. Car can be driven hard at 150 km/h for hours without to much noise or feeling unsafe. Also a lot of features like double claxons (city and highway), electric antenne with variable length and best of all four your passenger, a seconddoor handle under the steering wheel to open up the door for your girlfriend or best pall. So why where there only 4491 coupes build and was there no follow up.......probably because a fiat garage in the late sixties did not have the clientele for it and people who thought of buying a beautifull car and had to tell that they just bought a FIAT ....thought twice and bought a mercedes or bmw.
