I wish I could get behind the painted bumpers look but I can't help think it's a cheap way of avoiding the chrome bill. Although that's understandable considering the price of a good chrome job these days.\n\nBefore any more confusion folks should know that this isn't a 65 and no you can't simply swap in the clamshell hidden-headlight system (officially headlight shields). The fenders and parking lamp area are slightly differently shaped so you'll either need a full front clip from a 65 Riviera or need to be creative and hide the headlights either behind the grille or existing parking light glass/grille in order to achieve the hidden headlight look. Worth the effort on these slightly classier 63/64 Rivieras.\n\nAlso the rear armrest is worth sourcing if you can. The four seater theme really flows well with the optional armrest. And while you're at it in terms of rare accessories, be sure you go on the hunt for a purse hook for the dash. This car already has cruise control - or does it?\n\nI can almost guarantee you won't lose money on a first generation RIviera. There are also Riviera parts specialists all over. A guy in Michigan very active on the facebook group I mentioned will have the wheels for sure. Or if you're in CA there's a guy in northern CA (I think in grass valley?) who parts out a ton of Rivis.
