This car was part of the \"European Car\" magazine M6 buyers guide in 2004. The magazine will be provided with all the spare bits to the new owner. (strut brace, factory air box, spare coil pack, and those stunning BBS LN wheels)\r\n\r\n10,000 miles ago, the previous owner had the radiator blow out at highway speed (car was running a Dinan built motor at the time)....He commissioned some of the best shops around to take the 330BHP of the Dinan motor and make it better, dramatically.\r\n\r\nVAC Motorsports featured in on their web page and are quite proud of the build. (probably what you are hearing @montreal) the M88 motor is as close to an M1 motor as any other M car was equipped with. @Geewagens, I wish you luck, the previous owner spent upwards of $75k making this car sound this way. I hope you can do it for less. @montreal, that's part of the exhaust tune, it actually sounds great in person, but perhaps became distorted by the camera during the video-making process.\r\n\r\nJust a few notes that should have been in the description:\r\n\r\nAC blows extremely cold, but the fan only blows at high-speed\r\nIn dash clock next to the radio doesn't show the time, or anything else.\r\nFactory radio seems to turn on, no display, no audio but the antenna goes up. Car is fitted with an aftermarket kenwood bluetooth amp that allows you to listen to anything on your phone (music, podcasts, etc) simple, easy, and completely hidden when you close the ashtray.\r\nA new passenger's side window weatherseal was installed, the shop trimmed some material, it's not perfect, some photos are included, could stand to be replaced again.\r\n\r\nFinally, I took the car to a couple of cars and coffee events in NJ this past weekend, the car was loved by everyone. I know the previous owner who had the motor built and tuned by VAC motorsports, when he moved to Boulder Colorado, he had no problem finding a local shop that was comfortable working on the car. \r\n\r\nI do have manuals and pin-outs for the stand-alone KMS ECU, from there, it is simply a matter of testing various sensors should a problem ever come up. Truly no different than any other car, certainly the same as anything with a quality aftermarket ECU. Aside from the ECU, this is almost a standard e24 M635, it just happens to have higher compression, larger pistons, high lift cams, etc etc\r\n\r\nBy the way, I have a contact for coast-to-coast transport, enclosed at a very reasonable price that I'd be happy to share with the winning bidder.
